TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
